ZION Luxury TV Brings Video Walls Outdoors

The video wall category has grown quickly over the past few years, and the pace is only accelerating. What was once a relatively narrow commercial-display conversation has become a much broader luxury residential opportunity, with more brands, more formats, and more installation possibilities entering the market.

That growth is good for clients, but it also raises the bar for integrators, designers, and builders. With so many options now available, the winning solutions aren’t simply the biggest or brightest. They’re the ones that can support the design intent of a property, deliver strong performance in difficult environments, and integrate cleanly into the way clients intend to use the space.

selective design is not only stepping into that conversation but bringing it outdoors with ZION Luxury TV, a Spain-built line of outdoor large-format Micro-LED walls scheduled to make their North American debut at CEDIA Expo 2026.

The ZION Outdoor Micro-LED lineup is aimed at estate-level residences, yachts, and premium outdoor living environments. Standard models range from 65 inches all the way up to 203 inches, with larger custom sizes available. The line is IP65 rated, approved for marine use, and designed for outdoor applications where sun exposure, weather, placement, and long-term reliability are all part of the specification process.

Performance remains central to the pitch. ZION says its outdoor panels are engineered for residential theater applications, not simply adapted from commercial large-pixel displays. The company points to high brightness options, strong contrast, HDR color performance, and fast refresh rates as part of the viewing experience, including models intended to render 4K content cleanly in outdoor conditions.

For the design and integration channel, though, the more compelling differentiator may be flexibility. ZION systems can be configured for fixed mounting, rear-access swing-out mounting, motorized lifts, and articulating systems that allow the display to rise, rotate, or serve multiple viewing areas. Depending on the configuration, systems can be placed on hardscape, landscape, partially recessed, or below grade.

That’s the kind of flexibility that’s going to make this type of product stand out not just to trade partners but their clients as well. In high-end outdoor environments, the display often has to work around architecture, views, furniture plans, pool areas, yacht decks, and sightlines. A video wall that can emerge only when needed, rotate toward different gathering zones, or receive a custom finish is easier to treat as part of the design rather than an interruption to it.

Customization is a major part of the ZION offering. Exposed frames can be painted, faux finished in materials such as wood or stone, or specified with treated metal finishes. selective design also builds INOX wall mounts and custom stands, giving integrators and design teams more room to adapt the product to the project.

The outdoor range includes several families. HORIZON 360 is built around a motorized, articulating lift concept that can raise, elevate, and rotate the display for viewing from more than one side. The ONE is an all-in-one 4K COB HDR system with built-in speaker options and customizable frame treatments. And the SOLO is designed as a lower-profile option for fixed or swing-out mounting applications.

ZION Luxury TV models are compatible with major control platforms, including Crestron, Savant, and Control4, with additional control options available through Google, Apple TV, and browser-based interfaces on select systems.

The brand told Connected Design that it will bring a selection from its lineup to CEDIA Expo, but those details are still being decided upon.

As the video wall category continues to expand, the challenge for the channel will be helping clients understand the difference between spectacle and suitability. ZION’s entrance into North America reflects where the market appears to be heading, toward large-format outdoor displays that aren’t only technically capable, but also more thoughtfully integrated into luxury living environments.
