Origin Acoustics is heading to CEDIA Expo 2026 with a broader view of what architectural audio can look like in the modern luxury home. The Las Vegas-based manufacturer announced a new wave of product intended to give integrators more freedom in how performance audio is designed into residential and commercial spaces. The new slate includes loudspeakers, subwoofers, amplification products, and installation-focused solutions — all of which will be on display in Denver next week.
The introductions span both ends of the design spectrum. Some products are built to disappear into the architecture, while others are meant to become visible parts of the room. That mix reflects Origin’s stated goal of helping dealers solve the space first, then match the system architecture to the way the room will actually be used.
“At Origin, we’re designing for the entire experience, not simply adding another speaker to the ceiling or another product to the rack,” Nick Berry, CEO of Origin Acoustics, said in a statement announcing the new solutions. “These introductions give our dealers more freedom to solve the room the right way, whether that means making audio disappear, making it part of the design or creating an entirely new application.”
Floorstanding Audio as a Design Element
Among the most visually assertive additions are the new Entertainment Towers, a freestanding loudspeaker platform designed for rooms where the speaker is not intended to vanish. Each tower uses Origin’s 3-inch Planar Ribbon technology, a custom wide-dispersion waveguide, dual 5-inch high-performance drivers and dual 10-inch woofers.
The towers are designed for bi-amplification with Origin’s Pro Amplifier Series. Onboard DSP manages crossover points, phase, timing, frequency response, driver integration and protection, positioning the product as a complete loudspeaker-and-amplifier platform rather than a standalone cabinet.

Origin is also leaning into finish flexibility. The towers feature a sculpted form and vertically machined aluminum grille, with CNC-machined grilles that can be custom powder coated in thousands of colors and finishes to coordinate with architectural metals, millwork, furnishings or broader interior palettes.
More Bass, Less Visual Impact
For low-frequency performance, Origin introduced the Dual CSUB10 In-Wall Subwoofer. Built around two architectural CSUB10 subwoofers, the system uses 10-inch aluminum woofers and requires 3.5 inches of mounting depth.

The intent is to let integrators increase bass output while preserving a discreet architectural footprint. A low-profile aluminum grille keeps the installation visually clean, whether the subwoofer is used in a living room, a music system or another residential application where floor space and sight lines matter.
A Concept for Hard-to-Reach Architecture
Origin will also preview a Concept Wedge Loudspeaker at the show. The concept is aimed at eaves, soffits, architectural transitions and other locations where conventional loudspeakers may not fit cleanly.
The version planned for demonstration combines a 5-inch coaxial driver, 3-inch ribbon tweeter and dual 6.5-inch woofers with configurable mounting rails, grille lengths and finished end caps. The larger idea is to maintain a sealed, full-range acoustic platform while giving integrators more latitude to adapt the visible and mounting elements to the project.

Cleaner Media Walls and Custom Soundbars
The company’s new Media Surrounds address one of the most visible technology areas in the home: the display wall. The surrounds are designed to integrate the TV and audio into a single, more intentional installation, with configurations for TV-only applications, TV plus a soundbar slot, or TV plus an Origin Acoustics built-to-order soundbar system.
Those Built-to-Order Soundbars are made in Las Vegas to match the display and application. The lineup is available with 4-, 5- and 6-inch driver platforms and can be configured in stereo, center-channel or LCR arrangements. Ambisonic Planar Magnetic Ribbon tweeters are paired with glass-fiber woofers.

Each aluminum soundbar is cut to match the display and can include custom IR and logo notches, multiple mounting options and powder-coat finishes. Origin also notes IP65-rated construction with 316L stainless steel hardware for outdoor applications.
Distribution Amplification for Whole-Home Systems
On the rack side, Origin is showcasing the A850 and A1650 Distribution Amplifiers. The A850 offers eight channels across four stereo zones, while the A1650 expands to 16 channels and eight stereo zones.
Both amplifiers use ICEpower Class D amplification and deliver 50 watts per channel at 8 ohms, 110 watts per channel at 4 ohms and up to 185 watts bridged at 8 ohms, with support for loads down to 2.7 ohms. Global and local inputs, stereo or mono operation by zone, bridgeable channels, 12V trigger, audio sensing and per-zone protection are designed to simplify deployment across varied whole-home audio designs.
Taken together, the lineup signals a wider role for Origin in the connected home: not only supplying architectural speakers, but also helping integrators decide when audio should be hidden, framed, customized or intentionally displayed.
Marc Fisher, president of sales at Origin Acoustics, framed the launch around giving dealers more ways to solve rooms, build complete systems and make the experience feel intentional from the first design conversation through the first listen.
Origin Acoustics will demonstrate the new products and concepts at CEDIA Expo 2026 in Booth 2523, where attendees will also get a first look at an additional product platform available only inside the Origin booth during the show.
