Outdoor living continues to become a larger part of the connected home conversation, but for many CEDIA integrators, outdoor lighting can still feel like a separate discipline. Unique Lighting Systems, a division of The Toro Company, is looking to lower that barrier with a new CEDIA Partner Program built around design support, dealer education, field expertise and premium outdoor lighting solutions.
The program is intended to help integrators add outdoor lighting without having to build every piece of the business from scratch. According to Unique Lighting Systems, enrolled dealers will have access to no-cost support resources that can help them move from early project conversations through installation and long-term service.
“Today’s homeowners are investing more than ever in outdoor living spaces, and that creates a tremendous opportunity for integrators to expand the value they bring to their clients,” Dan Winterton, senior marketing manager at Unique Lighting Systems, said in a statement announcing the new program. “The challenge is that outdoor lighting can feel like a completely different business. We’ve spent more than 30 years helping professionals succeed in this category, and we’re bringing that same training, design support, field expertise and premium product offering to the CEDIA channel so dealers can grow with confidence.”
For integrators already working across lighting control, automation, networking, entertainment, and security, the outdoor environment can be a natural extension of the whole-home experience. It also brings different design considerations, installation variables and client expectations. Unique Lighting Systems is positioning the partner program as a way to help dealers close that gap with support from a manufacturer that has long served landscape contractors, outdoor lighting professionals and luxury residential and commercial designers.

What Dealers Get
The CEDIA Partner Program includes complimentary design and specification services, including CAD layouts, photometric planning and client proposal packages. The company says those resources are designed to help dealers present more complete projects while reducing the friction that can come with learning a new category.
The program also includes homeowner financing options for projects, which can help reduce dealer capital exposure on larger residential and commercial installs.
Dealers can also tap Unique Lighting Systems’ national factory field sales and support organization for hands-on help. That support may include participation in first installs, demo days and showroom builds, giving dealers more practical confidence as they bring outdoor lighting into their businesses.
Products Built for Connected Outdoor Living
Unique Lighting Systems is bringing CEDIA dealers a premium outdoor lighting portfolio designed to support both project quality and long-term ownership. Its patented HUB low-voltage wiring system is intended to simplify layouts, speed installation and reduce callbacks, helping integrators deliver cleaner installs and more reliable client experiences.
The company will also spotlight its Inspira Series and Odyssey Series fixtures. Together, the lines give integrators a range of design options along with intuitive control, smart-home compatibility and durable premium construction. For high-end residential and commercial clients, the pitch is outdoor lighting that feels like part of the broader connected luxury home rather than a standalone add-on.
“Homeowners increasingly expect technology to move seamlessly from indoors to outdoors,” Winterton said. “That shift creates a timely opportunity for CEDIA dealers to extend their role beyond the home and into the outdoor environment. By integrating premium lighting into the connected living experience, integrators can deliver faster installs, fewer callbacks, long-term reliability, and the luxury experience clients now expect across the entire property.”
